By chance do you hace any idra why when I turn on the car and press the accelerator the caro shuts off? It happened even when I removed the motor. As i connected a multimetro to the terminals of the motor it shuts off

As you got the answer down below. 1st make sure your oil In front and rare diff are new and proper % of mix with oil and mopar addin for LSD or buy dedicated good pre prepared oil for WJ and LSD. Depend of mix and oil, reactions in LSD hydralock can be shorter or longer, aork or not work at all. Also those hydralocks are getting used and it's ok to change them in old cars. Cost one of those can be around 400 USD, there are also custom ones, not from mopar, at last in Poland. After all make sure you have some AT tire not summer ones on sand. And to provoke system push the gas to the end which make wheel in the air spin and connects lockers. Mine do better than this 100 times. I use ro pass trough hole shape of tube where you depend just of 2 wheels all the time.

Traction control and BLD are a little bit different... Your jeep has both. Traction control kills throttle. BLD applies brake on one side which sends power to the other wheel "tricking" the open diff into doing the opposite of what it normally does. It actually is going to do both unless you turn off traction control. When you turn off traction control it prevents the computer from killing throttle but leaves on BLD. Also when traction control is off stability control is still on... You can turn off stability control too but you have to hold down the traction control button for like 30 seconds. And even when stability control is turned off BLD is still on. I don't think you can turn off BLD and that's a good thing.

Jeep should warn you the quada drive commander it's not for lava very disappointed ,they told me it was all terrain :(

I still prefer mechanical LSD more than just traction control... But Traction control still good enough for road and semi-offroad...

I started on a 2wd xk and I'm currently saving to get a unicorn. Quadra trac II is getting hard to find because those who know know, and people ride them til they die. I've got a distinct feeling that years from now XK's will carry the xj legacy. First you hear an engine roaring then you see some crackhead full sending over a hill into a pile of rocks.

If one of youre wheels is in a bind or it takes too much braking pressure to stop one wheel from spinning it will release the brakes. thats why when he rolled back slightly and started over it allowed the breaking system to ounce again engage.. Its a safety mechanism to keep from breaking an axle or damaging a diff. It works very well, and is doing what it was designed to do.

I own a 2007 Jeep Unlimited Wrangler. No Lockers, no lift kits, just the way it was from the factory. I have been on trails with Rubicons with lift kits and in the end I went everywhere they went. These people put thousands of dollars into their vehicles and in the end, the Jeep right from the factory can keep up with them. Yeah, you don't need lockers or lift kits or big tires. Just enjoy your JK take it out on those tough trails, enjoy nature, and you will see the traction control is unreal! I have had Rubicon owners with their lift kits come over to me and my Factory JK and offer to buy me a drink they are like we can't believe you followed us through all that with this Jeep. I always smile and say yes it is truly amazing how awesome a Jeep Wrangler really is right from the factory.

Thanks for the demo. I've heard so many myths and exaggerations about the unibody frame I was half expecting something break loose. It is a dependable frame, or else why would they keep using it? If it can handle two wheels in the air without so much as a sound it is a solid frame IMO. If I see a good deal on one of these I'd buy.

A bit late to the party here in 2020, and maybe it is just the video quality for a 2008 upload, but many times tires can absolutely undermine a great 4wd system
